The Bensenville Youth Coalition, Inc., was incorporated under the general not-for–profit corporation act of the state of Illinois on May 18, 1988.

Our Mission

​To recognize, promote, and develop our youth by strengthening their connections with the community.

In a visionary and advisory role to all of the Bensenville taxing body agencies, and supporting organizations, the Bensenville Community Youth Services Coalition connects organizations and people that serve the youth while promoting the health and wellbeing of our youth in our community. 

Our Goals

The Bensenville Youth Coalition aims to improve, supplement, or create new programing that directly affects youth in the following areas:
Authentic Life Experiences

• Field Trips
• Guest Speakers
• Job Training and Future Career Exploration

Fitness and Nutrition

• Athletic/Recreation Demonstrations or Enrichment Programs
• Community Gardens and other initiatives that promote sustainability or access to nutritious food
• Hands-On Nutrition Education Classes 

Academic and Recreational Literacy

• Back to School Initiatives
• Literacy Engagement
• Removing barriers to academic access and achievement 

Safety

• Vehicle Safety for Youth Drivers and Passengers
• Anti-Bullying and Suicide Prevention Programing
• Emergency Response Awareness Initiatives
